Smell Removal Instruction
Due to our hot water bottle is made of platinum silicone, it’s normal that exist slight natural silicone smell, we suggest below method to improve if you don’t like it.
1. Boil the bottle in hot water for 5 minutes, dry it and then smell removed.
2. Fill the bottle with 2 gram or more red or green tea and at least 80% of 90℃ or higher hot water. Close the cap and seal the bottle for 2 hours, discard tea and water, dry it naturally, then smell is basically removed.
Cautions
– When heating in microwave:
1. Please take off the knitted sleeve.
2. To avoid risk of explosion, do not leave excess air inside the bag when heating.
3. Do not heat the bag in a microwave whose heating power is over 1500W.
4. Never heat the bag exceed 3mins in microwave.
5. The time limit of 3mins includes the following heating after the first heating.
6. If the bag swells or if there is any abnormal circumstance occurs while heating, stop heating and wait till the bag cools. Do not open the microwave immediately.
– Always ensure the bag’s cap gasket is in place, and the bag is tightly sealed.
– Recommended water temperature not to exceed 80℃/175℉. Never use boiling water in the bag. Boiled water may cause scalds.
– Store the bag in dark, cool, dry place when not in use.
