This allows you to replace cartridges without shutting off the water main. The clear housing lets you monitor filter life. It includes a DuPont 800 series cartridge which reduces sediment like rust and silt particles which improves tap and bath water. It is a universal system which makes it easy to upgrade filtration with higher performing DuPont water filters. The filter life is 15,000 gallons of water and the maximum filtered water flow is 5 gallons per minute. It has 3/4-inch inlets and outlets. The system has a three year limited warranty.
